This is a video of the freewheeling American ensemble Bad Plus performing their new arrangement of a Milton Babbitt piece Semi-Simple Variations, along with dance by the Mark Morris Dance Group. They offer a great grove here – along with jazzy inflections that give a new life to this work. Milton Babbitt's Semi-Simple Variations will never be the same.
