A View from the Bridge exposes life in a 1950s Italian-American neighbourhood living in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge. Gritty and true to the times, a tight-knit community bursts from undercurrents of jealousy, self-deception and mistrust, with tragic results.
Featuring: Rebecca Croll, Adam LeBlanc, Christopher Moore, Matthew Raudsepp, Peter Vrana, Christie Hebert, Phil Demers, Marc Roy, Leonardo Valente, Dan Lister, Raphael Grosz, Jade HassounŸó and Mary Vuorela
Also with: Janessa Grant, Jessica Rose, Davide Chiazzese, Naomi Du Vall, Simon Fontaine, Dylan Gouze, Hayley Kezber and Henry Shattler
Stage Two Series
Initiated last season with Montreal Theatre Ensemble’Äôs critically acclaimed, Of Mice and Men, MTE will again collaborate with the John Abbott College Department of Theatre and Music to expose students in the professional theatre programme to the world outside their training environment. MTE is thrilled to be part of Stage Two, a ground breaking initiative in which the company has the opportunity to mentor Montreal’Äôs future actors through open rehearsals and talkbacks.
