Montreal, Thursday, November 26, 2009 ’Äì Yvon Turcot, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA), is pleased to announce that Michel Dallaire has been appointed to the Board.

Michel Dallaire has established a worldwide reputation in the design of utilitarian objects, industrial and institutional products, urban furnishings and transport equipment. He is the founding president of Michel Dallaire Design Industriel inc. The recipient of numerous awards, he is also an associate professor in industrial design at the Universitˆ© de Montrˆ©al and University of Calgary. Highly active in Quebec’Äôs arts community, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fondation Emile-Nelligan, among many other positions.
