(August 28, 2008, Toronto) Classical at the Carlu ’Äì a fundraising event in support of Piano Plus due to take place on September 9, 2008, has been postponed until the Spring of 2009. An announcement confirming the details will be made at a later date.

Piano Plus brings Canada's finest classical musicians to communities throughout the country in which opportunities to experience the magic of live concerts at an affordable cost are limited or simply non-existent. The brainchild of Artistic Director and Founder Janina Fialkowska, Piano Plus is the iteration of the incredibly successful Piano Six, the original 10-year program which began in 1993 with six pianists thrilling more than 100,000 classical music lovers in small towns and isolated communities across the country. Since 2004, the Piano Plus artist roster has been expanded to include distinguished Canadian musicians from the worlds of strings and voice as well as piano in order to bring a much broader range of the world’Äôs great music to the program.
