COC Surpasses $10 Million in Advance Ticket Sales


COC DOES IT AGAIN: surpassING $10 MILLION IN ADVANCE TICKET SALES

Toronto, Ontario ’Äì For the second year in a row and the second time in its history, the Canadian Opera Company has surpassed $10 million in gross subscription sales for the forthcoming season. This equates to over 96,000 seats sold and 16,000 subscribers so far for 2008/09.

Since the opening of the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in 2006, the COC has celebrated an average attendance of 99%.

Tickets are still available for the 2008/09 season. Single tickets for Don Giovanni and War and Peace are on sale Monday August 25, 2008, as well as subscription packages and Multi Packs for 2008/09 season may be purchased by calling 416-363-8231, online at www.coc.ca, or in person at the
